Lakes College in West Cumbria is seeking an Examinations Administrator to join our dedicated team and support learner achievement by coordinating examinations and assessments with precision.
You will register students with awarding bodies, plan online and paper exams, timetable rooms and invigilation, and ensure full compliance with JCQ and awarding body regulations while managing results and learner records.
Lakes College is a technical vocational Further Education College delivering education and training to full-time and part-time learners and apprentices to degree level. ABOUT THE ROLE

If so, Lakes College is looking for an Examinations Administrator to join our dedicated team and play a vital role in supporting the success of our learners.
As our Examinations Administrator, you’ll be at the heart of our student achievement process, ensuring examinations and assessments are planned, coordinated and delivered accurately and efficiently.
You’ll:

We’re looking for someone who holds a Level 2 qualification in Business Administration (or relevant qualification) and 5 GCSE’s, including Maths and English. You will have recent experience working in an office or administrative environment, excellent administration and data‑entry skills and be highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
Experience within education, examinations, enrolments or student records would be advantageous, but we welcome applicants from all administration backgrounds who can demonstrate transferable skills.

5 GCSEs including Maths and English (grade 4‑9) or equivalent essential
Level 2 Business Administration essential
HND/HNC or equivalent desirable
Records information accurately and in a form suitable for future retrieval and use essential
Recent experience in an office / data role essential
Clerical experience, particularly in Data Inputs essential
Dedicated essential
Demonstrates ability to work under pressure, prioritise and commit to strict deadlines whilst maintaining the quality of output essential
