Job summary

The Education Network is seeking Exam Invigilators to assist with examinations throughout the school year, primarily in the Summer term, and to be available for additional sessions as needed.

You will supervise students taking mock and real exams, reading and writing as required, and you must be highly organized, vigilant, and reliable. DBS checks and safeguarding procedures apply; shortlisting follows with contact within a few days.

Qualifications

• DBS Enhanced Disclosure will be required.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work with learners.
• Available Mon-Fri (AM/PM) and able to be called at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during examinations.
• Assist with reading and writing tasks as needed.
• Maintain exam security and confidentiality.

Job description

We are looking for Exam Invigilators to assist with examinations throughout the school year, but mainly in Summer term and some more spread across the year. You will be employed on a casual basis to supervise students taking both mock and actual exams, as necessary throughout the school year.

Duties include supervising students taking examinations, often providing assistance through reading and writing.

The ideal applicant will join the pool of invigilators and will need to be highly organised, vigilant and reliable. The ability to relate to learners is also essential.

We are particularly interested in applicants who are available any day of the week (Monday - Friday) (AM and PM) and have the flexibility to be called in at short notice.

Employment is subject to a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
