One Sixth Form College in Ipswich is seeking committed Invigilators to help run exams and give students the best chance to succeed. Invigilators will support students with access arrangements and may need to scribe or read for those who require it.
The role is casual with exams taking place throughout the year; hours vary day to day and peak in May and June. No prior experience is required as training will be provided, and experience with young people is an advantage.
We are looking to recruit committed Invigilators to work with us to ensure the effective running of exams and that our students have the best possible opportunity to be successful in their exams.
Invigilators are required to support students with a variety of access arrangements and be willing to Scribe or Read for those requiring it.
College exams take place throughout the year, so a flexible approach is appreciated. Hours vary day to day and according to the needs of the college exam entries.Mayand June are particularly busy, so good availability would berequiredduring these months.
There will also be training days throughout the academic year. You will support the Exams Team in the operational aspects of external examinationsin accordance withregulations laid down by the Joint Council for General Qualifications.
