Job summary

Areté Learning Trust in North Yorkshire is seeking three reliable, calm and organised Exam Invigilators to join our team. This role is vital to ensure the fair and smooth running of examinations across our schools. You will set up exam rooms, monitor students, distribute and collect papers, and report any irregularities.

Responsibilities

• Set up exam rooms in accordance with exam board regulations.
• Ensure students enter and leave the exam room in an orderly manner.
• Distribute and collect exam papers and materials.
• Supervise students throughout the examination to maintain a calm and compliant environment.
• Ensure exam conditions are strictly followed and report any irregularities.
• Provide assistance with emergency procedures (e.g., illness, fire evacuation).
• Complete required documentation, including attendance registers and incident reports.
• Work collaboratively with the exams team and other invigilators.

To ensure the fair and proper conduct of examinations and tests in accordance with examinations board's rules and regulations. Ensuring that pupils are aware of and comply with these rules, dealing with issues as they arise. We are seeking three reliable, calm and organised individuals to join our team of Exam Invigilators. This is a vital role in supporting the smooth and fair running of examinations across the school.,
