Areté Learning Trust is seeking a cover supervisor to provide short-term cover for absent teaching staff. You will allocate pre-prepared work, keep pupils on task and manage behaviour during class.
Hours of work are 32.5 per week, term time (39 weeks per year). The position is permanent and reports to the Deputy Headteacher. Travel is not required.
This role in the school is to provide short term cover for absent teaching staff, allocating pre-prepared work, keeping pupils on task and managing the behaviour of pupils during class. The role does not involve planning, preparing, delivering lessons or assessing and reporting on the development progress and attainment of pupils.
