Job summary

Monkton Wood Academy is seeking Exam Invigilators to join our exam team on a casual basis during busy periods. You will assist under the Exams Officer to ensure JCQ-compliant delivery of exams and provide a calm, fair examination experience for all students.

The role offers flexible calls during exam seasons; ideal for individuals with strong interpersonal, organisational and time-management skills who can work well in a team or on their own initiative. Hourly rate £13.45.

Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the Exams Officer, assist in the efficient delivery of internal and external exams.
  • Ensure that the conduct of internal and external examinations takes place in accordance with JCQ regulations and academy procedures.

An opportunity to provide flexible, casual support to the academy team during busy exam periods:

We are looking for Exam Invigilators to join our supportive and talented exam team at Monkton Wood Academy. We are a diverse multi-academy trust, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students’ learning. Our Academies need exam invigilators, readers and scribers to assist with scheduled exams across the Federation. As this is a casual position you will work when available and will be called upon when required to support the Academy during exam season.

Under the direction of the Exams Officer, the Exams Invigilator will assist in the efficient delivery of internal and external exams. They will ensure that the conduct of internal and external examinations takes place in accordance with Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regulations and academy procedures. The postholder will ensure the candidates exam experience is a positive and supportive one; enabling that each candidate has an equal opportunity to demonstrate their abilities.
