Job summary

Lift Unity City is seeking an Exam Invigilator to help create a calm, fair, and secure environment for students during exams. Working under the guidance of the Exams Officer, you'll follow the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) Regulations to make sure everything runs smoothly.

As an invigilator, you will set up rooms, check attendance, distribute materials, give clear instructions, and maintain a quiet, safe exam environment while following safeguarding and data protection policies.

Qualifications

• No prior exam invigilator experience required.
• Good literacy skills and clear communication.
• Ability to stay calm in busy exam settings.

Responsibilities

• Set up exam rooms and check student attendance and identity
• Distribute exam material(s) to the candidates
• Give clear instructions to students about exam procedures
• Keep the exam room quiet and handle any issues calmly and fairly
• Watch for and remove any items students shouldn't have

About The Role

As an Exam Invigilator, you'll help create a calm, fair, and secure environment for students during exams. We Are Looking For Someone Who

You don't need previous exam experience, but you do need good literacy skills and the ability to stay calm when things get busy. Can you communicate clearly and follow a schedule? We'd love to hear from people who have worked with children or young people, or who have managed groups in other settings.
