Job summary

Lift Unity City is seeking an Exam Invigilator to help ensure fair, calm, and secure exam environments for students, under the guidance of the Exams Officer and JCQ regulations.

No prior invigilator experience required; strong literacy and the ability to stay composed during busy periods are key. Prior work with children or in supervisory roles is valued.

Qualifications

• No prior exam invigilator experience required, but literacy and clear communication are essential.
• Ability to stay calm and focused during busy exam periods.
• Experience with working with children or young people is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Set up exam rooms and check student attendance and identity
• Distribute exam material(s) to the candidates
• Give clear instructions to students about exam procedures
• Keep the exam room quiet and handle any issues calmly and fairly
• Watch for and remove any items students shouldn't have
• Collect exam papers and materials safely at the end
• Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, and data protection policies
