Job summary

Areté Learning Trust is seeking reliable, calm and organised Exam Invigilators to join our team across schools in the trust. You will set up exam rooms in line with exam board regulations, monitor students, distribute and collect papers and support safe, fair examinations.

This casual contract offers flexible hours (as and when required) and requires you to work closely with the Examinations Officer and invigilators to ensure compliance, attendance recording and incident reporting while

Responsibilities

• Set up exam rooms in line with exam board regulations.
• Monitor and supervise students to maintain a calm, orderly environment.
• Distribute and collect exam papers and materials.

• Assist with emergency procedures and safety protocols.
• Complete attendance registers and incident reports.
• Collaborate with the exams team and other invigilators.
• Safely store and return confidential examination materials.

To ensure the fair and proper conduct of examinations and tests in accordance with examinations board's rules and regulations. Ensuring that pupils are aware of and comply with these rules, dealing with issues as they arise. We are seeking a number of reliable, calm and organised individuals to join our team of Exam Invigilators. This is a vital role in supporting the smooth and fair running of examinations across the school.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up exam rooms in accordance with exam board regulations
• Ensure students enter and leave the exam room in an orderly manner
• Distribute and collect exam papers and materials
• Supervise students throughout the examination to maintain a calm and compliant environment
• Ensure exam conditions are strictly followed and report any irregularities
• Provide assistance with emergency procedures (e.g., illness, fire evacuation)
• Complete required documentation, including attendance registers and incident reports
• Work collaboratively with the exams team and other invigilators
• Safely store and return all exam papers and confidential materials
