Job summary

Neale-Wade Academy in March, Cambridgeshire is seeking reliable Exam Invigilators to support the summer examination series. This casual role sits at the heart of the assessment process and requires careful attention to board regulations and academy procedures. Availability May–June is essential.

You will work with the Exams Officer to ensure examinations run fairly, securely and efficiently, maintaining confidentiality and a calm environment for students.

Responsibilities

  • Invigilate public and internal examinations in accordance with examination board regulations and academy procedures.
  • Prepare examination rooms and distribute examination materials before candidates arrive.
  • Supervise candidates throughout examinations, ensuring a secure, orderly and compliant environment.
  • Complete attendance records, provide authorised materials when required and give clear examination instructions.
  • Collect and return examination scripts securely, maintaining confidentiality and reporting any issues appropriately.

Location: Neale-Wade Academy, March, Cambridgeshire
Contract: Casual
Salary: ALT Grade C - £13.38 to £13.49 per hour (£14.99 to £15.11 per hour - including holiday pay)

We are looking for reliable and attentive Exam Invigilators to join Neale-Wade Academy, a calm, caring and ambitious 11 to 18 school in the heart of March. This is an important role at the centre of the examination process, helping to ensure every assessment is conducted fairly, securely and in line with national regulations. Working closely with the Exams Officer and wider academy team, successful applicants will bring sound judgement, attention to detail and a professional approach, creating an environment where students can focus on demonstrating their knowledge and achieving their potential.

Availability to support the main summer examination series (typically May to June) is essential, as this is the academy’s busiest and most important examination period.
