Job summary

Sale High School is seeking reliable Exam Invigilators to supervise examinations, explain procedures and support candidates to ensure exams run smoothly and fairly. You will distribute and collect materials, maintain a calm testing environment and report concerns to the Examinations Manager.

Good literacy, numeracy, communication and safeguarding awareness are essential; prior experience in education is desirable.

Exam Invigilators Wanted - Sale High School

Sale High School is looking for reliable, organised and professional Exam Invigilators to join our team and help ensure examinations run smoothly and fairly for all candidates.

What you’ll do:

• Supervise students during examinations and ensure exam rules are followed.

• Explain examination procedures and provide support where appropriate.

• Distribute and collect exam materials securely.

• Maintain a calm, professional testing environment.

• Report any concerns or incidents to the Examinations Manager.

What we’re looking for:

• Good literacy and numeracy skills.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• The ability to remain calm, impartial and professional.

• A good understanding of safeguarding.

• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable.

• Good availability during exam seasons.

Pay: £13.45 per hour (£15.07 including holiday pay)
Contract: Zero hours - minimum 2 hours’ pay
Exam periods: November, February/March and May/June/July

Annual mandatory training is provided.
