Job summary

New College Pontefract is recruiting an Access Arrangements Assistant to support the SENDCo with administrative tasks for access arrangements. The role requires experience with organising access arrangements and knowledge of JCQ requirements to support students with educational needs.

The position is full time (37 hours/week), term-time only (38 weeks), permanent, with a salary in the Support Staff Band E (£21,570 - £22,634). Start date is As Soon As Possible.

Qualifications

  • Experience of organising access arrangements is essential.
  • Strong organisational skills are required.
  • Knowledge of JCQ requirements is essential.

The Access Arrangements Assistant will assist the SENDCo with the administrative tasks associated with the organisation of access arrangements. The successful candidate will have the knowledge, understanding and experience of working with young people in a similar environment and must be willing to undertake further training relevant to the post. Previous experience of organising access arrangements is essential, along with strong organisational skills and knowledge of JCQ requirements, in order to provide a high standard of support to students with their access and educational needs.
