JobsTrackR in Huddersfield is seeking an Ex-Offender Support Worker to deliver tailored support to individuals on probation or transitioning from custody. The role focuses on rehabilitation, skills development, and employability through 1:1 coaching and group activities.

You will build trust, identify barriers, and provide practical guidance, with enhanced DBS required. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the region are essential.

Qualificações

• Experience working with offenders or individuals facing disadvantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Coaching or mentoring approach for both 1:1 and group interventions.
• Understanding of the criminal justice system and desistance theory.
• Willing to travel within the region and drive.
• DBS clearance required for the role.

Responsabilidades

• Provide person-centred support to participants through regular 1:1 sessions and group work.
• Identify learning and development needs, creating bespoke action plans to support progress.
• Deliver engaging workshops focused on communication, life skills, and employment preparation.
• Build rapport with participants and offer motivational coaching to support desistance and future planning.
• Maintain accurate records and track outcomes.
• Collaborate with partner organisations to identify training, employment, and education opportunities.
• Offer advice, guidance, and practical support for re-engagement with the community.
