Job summary

MASS at Porton Down in Salisbury is recruiting an EW Systems Engineer to embed with the DSTL customer on a major defence transformation programme. The role focuses on MBSE, requirements, and end-to-end systems engineering across the lifecycle.

You will work with scientists, engineers and military end users to deliver robust engineering solutions, maintain documentation, and support field trials across the UK and internationally.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Systems Engineering across the lifecycle.
• Experience with requirements management tools (DOORS, EA).
• Proven ability to produce System Engineering documentation.
• Experience in verification, validation and acceptance testing.
• Ability to engage technical and operational stakeholders.
• Understanding of Electronic Warfare concepts or EW systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead Systems Engineering activities across the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to translate needs into solutions.
• Apply MBSE principles from requirements to verification.
• Interface with the customer as the primary technical contact.
• Support in-field trials and deployment across UK and beyond.
