Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of EVRi, to join their operations team in the Belfast area. This permanent HGV Class 2 driver position offers shifts from 23:00 and pays £17.98 before 3am, £15.10 after 3am, with overtime at £21.90 after 40 hours.

You will drive palletised loads, load/unload with tail lift, and interact with customers professionally. Full UK licence with Class 2 entitlement, DCPC and Tachograph, minimal points, and knowledge of WTD are required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Safely handling and conveying palletised packages to sub depots.
• Emphasising safe driving practices and ensuring precise documentation.
• Typically completing 3 to 4 runs on an average.
• Drivers will need to contribute to the loading and unloading of the vehicle, utilising a tail lift and pump truck.
• Engaging with customers while upholding a professional and polite image on behalf of the company.

No Experience? Just starting out? No problem!

*Please note that this role will be going live from September 2025*

Hours: Shifts across Monday to Sunday, start times from 23:00pm onwards

Pay Rate:

Before 3am - £17.98 per hour

After 3am - £15.10 per hour

Over time rates kick in after 40 hours - £21.90
