Job summary

EVRi Peterborough is hiring HGV Class 2 Twilight Drivers (Cat C) to join our depot. You will drive on runs with 4–5 drops, ensuring paperwork is accurate and safety throughout your shift.

Full-time is 35 hours per week with 5 shifts out of 7; flexible contracts and part-time hours are available. We offer £15.43 per hour with overtime £23.15, plus 32 days leave, pension contributions and a range of benefits tailored to you.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 (Cat C), CPC and tachograph; short driving assessment may be required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Safety-first mindset.
• Reasonable physical fitness.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 2 vehicles on runs with 4–5 drops, ensuring safe driving and updated paperwork.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date administration for deliveries and receipts.
• Work full-time 35 hours per week; rotas are 5 shifts out of 7 and provided in advance.

HGV Class 2 Twilight Driver Peterborough!

We currently have exciting, flexible opportunities for HGV Class 2 Twilight Drivers (or Cat C Drivers as we sometimes call them) to join our growing Peterborough Depot.

What You’ll Do:

Our HGV Class 2 drivers work on shifts, safely transporting our palletised parcels to Couriers or collecting from Delivery Units (that’s where our couriers pick them up). You will typically have a run with 4 - 5 drops ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles and keeping the paperwork updated.

Our full-time HGV Class 2 driver roles are 35hours a week, but flexible contracts and part time hours are available. Full time is any 5 shifts out of 7, rotas are given in advance.

Essential Skills & Experience Required:

• You’ll need a full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 (Cat C) entitlements, driver's CPC and digital tachograph. Newly qualified drivers are welcome, however all drivers will need to undertake a short driving assessment.
