Job summary

Evri in West Thurrock is hiring a Night Driver for HGV Class 2 routes. You will work on shifts, delivering palletised parcels to couriers or delivery units and handling paperwork. The role involves 4–5 drops per run and a 40-hour week across 5 shifts out of 7.

The package includes a competitive hourly rate with overtime, a pension contribution and life assurance, plus a flexible range of benefits. Ambition for progression is encouraged.

Qualifications

HGV Class 2 Night Driver West Thurrock!

We currently have exciting, flexible opportunities forHGV Class 2 NightDrivers (or Cat C Drivers as we sometimes call them) to join our growing Lakeside Depot.

What You’ll Do:

OurHGV Class 2drivers work on shifts, safely transporting our palletised parcels to Couriers or collectingfromDelivery Units (that's where our couriers pick them up). You will typically have a run with 4 - 5drops ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles and keeping thepaperwork updated.

Our full-time HGV Class 2 driver roles are 40 hours a week,but flexible contracts and part time hours are available.Full time is any 5 shifts out of 7, rotas are given in advance.

What We Can Offer You:

£17.88 per hour with an overtime rate of £26.60

Essential Skills & Experience Required:

• You’ll need a full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2(Cat C) entitlements, driver's CPC and digital tachograph. Newly-qualified drivers are welcome, however all drivers will need to undertake a short driving assessment.

• Reasonable physical fitness
