Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of EVRi for HGV Class 1 Drivers in the Belfast area. No experience required; role goes live Sept 2025 with shifts across evenings. Typical runs are 3–4 per shift, with loading duties and customer-facing responsibilities.

Competent drivers with a clean licence and DCPC are invited to apply. Pay rates vary by time, with overtime after 40 hours. This permanent position offers a steady schedule and opportunities to progress within a major logistics

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (C&E).
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Safely handling and conveying palletised packages to sub depots.
• Emphasising safe driving practices and ensuring precise documentation.
• Typically completing 3 to 4 runs on an average.
• Drivers will need to contribute to the loading and unloading of the vehicle, utilising a tail lift and pump truck.
• Engaging with customers while upholding a professional and polite image on behalf of the company.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client, EVRi, based in the Belfast area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C&E) to join the team on a permanent basis.

No Experience? Just Starting out? No problem!

*Please note that this role will be going live from September 2025*

Hours: Shifts across Monday to Sunday, start times from 23:00pm onwards

Pay Rate:

Before 3am - £18.86 per hour

After 3am - £15.30per hour

Over time kicks in after 40 hours - £22:20 per hour
