Job summary

Evri in Hemel Hempstead is hiring HGV Class 1 Night Drivers to join our growing depot. Night shifts typically start around 23:30, with full-time contracts offering 40 hours per week and some weekend work.

You will drive long routes, ensure safe delivery of parcels, update paperwork, and assist depot staff with heavier items when required. A UK driving licence with Cat C+E entitlements, CPC and tachograph are required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with HGV Class 1 (Cat C+E) entitlements.
• CPC and digital tachograph knowledge.
• Newly qualified drivers welcome, short driving assessment to be undertaken.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles on night routes to client sites.
• Deliver and collect parcels, update paperwork.
• Assist depot staff with heavier items when needed.
• 40-hour weeks with some weekend work.

We currently have exciting, flexible opportunities forHGV Class 1 Night Drivers(or Cat C+E Drivers as we sometimes call them) to join ourgrowing Hemel Hempstead Depot!

Nightshifts typically start between 23:30

What You’ll Do:

OurHGV Class 1 driversusually drive our longer routes in waves, ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles from depots to our clients and other sites in theEVRinetwork. You’llensure parcels are collected and deliveredsafely;paperwork updated andassistdepot staff with heavier items from time to time. We know the great British roads and weatherdon’talways play nicely, soyou’llneed to keep us updated with any problems. We can then help find an alternative route.

Our HGV Class 1 drivers work on shifts. Full-time contracts are 40 hours per week with some weekends.

What We Can Offer You:

£19.52per hour with an overtime rate of £29.28

Essential Skills & Experience Required:
