Job summary

Evri is recruiting HGV Class 1 Day Drivers for our Gatwick depot. Shifts start early in the morning; you’ll drive longer routes across the network, ensuring safe delivery of parcels and updating paperwork. Full-time, 40 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days, including weekends.

We offer a competitive £17.08 per hour with overtime at £25.62, plus 32 days of annual leave and pension + life assurance. Benefits include vouchers, insurance, and healthcare options tailored to you.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with HGV Class 1 (Cat C+E) entitlements, CPC and digital tachograph.
• Newly qualified drivers welcome; a short driving assessment will be required.
• Excellent communication skills and safety-first mindset are essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive longer routes across the EVRI network to clients and other sites.
• Ensure parcels are collected and delivered safely; update paperwork as required.
• Assist depot staff with heavier items from time to time (pallet truck and tail lift).
• Keep management informed of any problems and help find alternative routes.

We currently have exciting, flexible opportunities forHGV Class 1 Day Drivers(or Cat C+E Drivers as we sometimes call them) to join our growingGatwick depot. Dayshifts typically start 06:00 am

WhatYou’llDo:

OurHGV Class 1 driversusually drive our longer routes in waves, ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles from depots to our clients and other sites in theEVRinetwork.You’llensure parcels are collected and deliveredsafely;paperwork updated andassistdepot staff with heavier items from time to time. This will include pallet truck and tail lift work. We know the great British roads and weatherdon’talways play nicely, soyou’llneed to keep us updated with any problems. We can then help find an alternative route.

Our HGV Class 1 drivers work on shifts. Full-time contracts: 40 hours per week, any 5 out of 7 days (including weekends).

Essential Skills & Experience Required:
