Job summary

Avon and Somerset Police in Almondsbury is seeking a dedicated Regional Evidential Property Manager to securely manage evidential property for serious and organised crime investigations. You will work with officers, staff and partners to ensure integrity, security and accuracy in handling across the SWROCU region.

This permanent role offers flexible working options where feasible, with a minimum of 30 hours for part-time arrangements and a 37-hour week for full-time; located at the SWROCU

Qualifications

• Valid full UK driving licence.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent accuracy skills and attention to detail.
• Experience of working within a confidential environment and data protection principles.
• Skilled computer user with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritise own workload and deal with changing demands, including working unsupervised.
• Experience of applying logical thought processes and judgement and applying procedures and policies.
• Experience of being a point of contact internally and externally, providing advice, guidance and support.
• Desirable: knowledge of manual handling and health and safety; experience of recommending or implementing changes.

• Harmonise procedures with officers, staff and partner agencies to maintain integrity of evidence.
• Ensure compliance, security and accuracy in evidential handling.
