Job summary

The Malone Hotel in Belfast is seeking an Events Manager to lead the proactive development and coordination of meetings, conferences, weddings, private events and group business. Reporting to the General Manager, you will grow event bookings, manage enquiries from initial contact through to final billing and follow-up, and build strong relationships with clients and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a hotel, events or wedding role is essential.
• Strong sales, negotiation and client relationship skills.
• Excellent customer service and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to event and wedding enquiries with tailored proposals.
• Plan and coordinate weddings, conferences, meetings and private functions.
• Develop relationships with wedding planners, suppliers and corporate clients.
• Proactively grow enquiries, showrounds and conversions to bookings.
• Monitor pipeline and deliver weekly sales updates.
