De Vere Latimer Estate in Chesham is seeking an Events Assistant to join our team. You will help set up and clear down event spaces for conferences, weddings, and other events, ensuring rooms are prepared to specification and on time.

You will work in a hands-on capacity moving tables, chairs and equipment, following room plans and maintaining safety and presentation. A friendly team environment offers varied shifts and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented to ensure spaces are set up correctly.
• Comfortable moving tables, chairs and event equipment.
• Able to work efficiently in a busy environment.
• Previous experience in events or hospitality is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and clear down event spaces for conferences, weddings, or meetings.
• Follow room plans and assist with room changes.
• Ensure spaces, fixtures and equipment are clean and ready for the next event.
• Work as part of the events team to keep operations running smoothly behind the scenes.
