De Vere Latimer Estate in Chesham is seeking an Events Assistant to help prepare our event spaces for guests. You will be hands-on, moving tables and chairs, following room plans and ensuring spaces are clean and ready for the next booking.

This role offers varied shift patterns in a 24/7 operation with comprehensive staff benefits and opportunities for progression. Previous events or hospitality experience is helpful but training is provided.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail to ensure spaces are set up to a high standard.
• Hands-on role requiring moving tables, chairs and equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment with varied room setups.

Responsibilities

• Set up and clear down event spaces for conferences, weddings, awards nights or special events.
• Move and arrange tables, chairs and equipment safely using trolleys.
• Follow room plans, assist with room changes and ensure spaces, fixtures and equipment are clean and ready.
