JobDescription :
London Museum is on the cusp of a transformative moment. With a major new site opening at scale, we are expanding our hospitality offer and stepping confidently into a new era of commercial opportunity. As Events Sales Manager, you will be at the heart of this change - driving a fresh hospitality sales strategy and leading the charge to position the Museum as one of London’s most compelling cultural event destinations.
The Events Sales Manager will apply their passion for delivering results, building relationships and contributing to the growth of our venue hire business. Reporting to the Senior Events Sales & Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in achieving sales targets across London Museum Smithfield, London Museum Docklands and London Museum Spaces. This is a hands-on role focused on managing enquiries, converting business and delivering an excellent client experience throughout the sales process. The Events Sales Manager is responsible for managing bookings through our events management system, ensuring accurate administration of enquiries, contracts and client records.
The Event Sales Manager also supports promotional activity and marketing delivery through content creation and campaign support, working closely with the Senior Events Sales & Marketing Manager, Communications team and our external PR agency to help promote our venues and generate new business opportunities.
Previous experience of working in a museum is not required and you do not need to have any academic qualifications; we are looking for a strategic thinker who knows what good looks like. London Museum will not be a traditional museum experience, so we are looking for someone who is ready to lead a fresh approach to sales and marketing.
