Job summary

Salt Digital Recruitment is seeking a Global Events Manager to own end-to-end trade shows and exhibitions, taking concept to flawless execution across a portfolio of international events. You will shape strategy, manage budgets, timelines and vendor relationships to deliver standout attendee experiences in line with commercial objectives.

Based in Manchester, this role requires hands-on leadership of onsite delivery, coordination with marketing and commercial teams, and the ability to steer

• Proven experience owning end-to-end trade show, exhibition or large-scale event programmes.
• Strong project management and budget ownership experience.
• Expertise managing agencies, suppliers, venues and external partners.
• Experience delivering events with complex logistics and multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to solve problems quickly.
• Experience operating within fast-paced commercial environments.

We're looking for an experienced events professional to take ownership of a portfolio of high-profile international trade shows and exhibitions. This is a rare opportunity to lead the complete event lifecycle, shaping event strategy, delivering exceptional attendee experiences, and driving commercial impact across major global exhibitions. You'll be the person responsible for making sure every event runs seamlessly, from initial planning and budgeting through to onsite delivery and post-event analysis.
