About Us:

Buxton Brewery is an independent micro brewery rooted in the Peak District. Known for our bold, flavour-forward beers and adventurous ethos, we operate several thriving venues and supply beer to venues and events in the UK and beyond. As we grow, we're looking for an enthusiastic, organised, and experienced Events Manager to help bring our brand to life through exciting, memorable events.

The Role:

We’re on the hunt for a creative and organised individual to sit within our marketing department and oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of a wide variety of events across Buxton Brewery’s calendar. There will be a heavy focus on events within our own bars and event spaces, including (but not limited to) weddings, private parties, brew days, brewery tours, live music, large-scale festivals, trade events, and community engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage, and execute a year-round calendar of events across all Buxton Brewery venues
• Coordinate and represent the brewery at industry trade shows, collaborations, and beer festivals nationwide
• Develop and deliver unique, brand-aligned experiences including seasonal gigs, tap takeovers, food & beer pairings, tours, weddings, and more
• Foster strong relationships with local artists, musicians, food vendors, and community groups to deliver collaborative events
• Manage event budgets, staffing, logistics, and post-event reporting.
• Work with the marketing team to promote events through digital, print, and local outreach
• Ensure all events comply with licensing, health & safety, and other regulatory requirements
• Innovate and evolve our events offering to strengthen community ties and increase footfall across all sites

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in event management, preferably in hospitality, weddings, live events, or the independent beer industry
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with an ability to manage multiple venues and timelines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Creative thinker with a passion for independent beer and cultivating community
• Flexible schedule with willingness to work evenings, weekends, and trade events as required
• A full driving licence is preferred

Salary: 29,000 - 31,000 dependant on experience
