Job summary

Rosewood London is seeking an Events Floor Supervisor to join our Banqueting team. You will oversee event operations and beverage service, ensuring high standards of health and safety and guest satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, proactive organisation and the ability to manage agency staff and casual workers. You will be the primary contact for clients during events and will coordinate setup and teardown processes.

• Having a passion for events and taking ownership of the guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the events floor and beverage services with health and safety oversight.
• Supervise Event operations and bar operations during events.
• Act as main point of contact for Event clients and guests for assigned events.
• Oversee the Events Set-up team during setup and teardown of each event.
• Communicate, prioritise and delegate tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Key expectations of this role are

• Ensuring a smooth day to day running of the operations department in regards to all service, health and safety and supervision of Event operations.
• Ensuring a smooth day to day running of the beverage services in regards to all service, health and safety and supervision of bar operations.
• Acting as a point of contact for Event clients and guests for all assigned events ensuring the upmost levels of service and satisfaction at all times.
• Supervising the Events Set-up team during set up and tear down of each event.
• Effectively communicating, prioritising and delegating tasks in a high-pressure environment.
