Job summary

Focus Resourcing Limited in the UK is seeking an Events Executive to support planning and delivery of corporate events across the EMEA region, from conferences to seminars. You will coordinate venues, catering, logistics and attendees to ensure memorable experiences.

This hybrid role based in Egham offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8am–5pm, 4:30pm on Fridays) with a salary of £32k–£36k DOE and occasional travel within Europe. You will work with internal teams to reflect brand and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Help plan and deliver events across EMEA, including finding venues, organising catering, managing logistics, coordinating attendees and preparing event materials.
  • Keep event plans, timelines, checklists and key deadlines up to date.
  • Work closely with suppliers, venues and other partners to ensure everyone understands requirements, timelines and budget.
  • Organise event materials, promotional items and shipments, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Communicate with attendees before events and provide necessary information.
  • Be hands-on during events, supporting registration, logistics and on-site experience.

Salary

Key responsibilities
  • Help plan and deliver events across EMEA, including finding venues, organising catering, managing logistics, coordinating attendees and preparing event materials.
  • Keep event plans, timelines, checklists and key deadlines up to date.
  • Work closely with suppliers, venues and other partners to make sure everyone understands what's required, when it's needed and what the budget is.
  • Organise event materials, promotional items and shipments, making sure everything arrives where and when it should.
  • Communicate with attendees before events and make sure they have all the information they need.
  • Be hands-on during events, supporting registration, logistics, technology and the overall experience for guests.
  • Stay calm and think on your feet when something doesn't go according to plan.
  • Work with internal teams to make sure events reflect our brand, messaging and objectives.
  • Help monitor event budgets and supplier costs.
  • After each event, gather feedback and review what worked well, what could be improved and what we can take forward to future events.
Required skills for the Event Executive
  • Highly organised with a good eye for detail.
  • Confident working with suppliers, venues and internal stakeholders.
  • A clear and approachable communicator.
  • Proactive and comfortable taking ownership.
  • Someone who can anticipate problems and find practical solutions quickly.
  • Comfortable working independently while also being a strong team player.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Experienced in managing event budgets and supplier relationships.
  • Comfortable coordinating technology and logistics onsite.
  • Familiar with event management tools or software.

You'll also need to be happy travelling within Europe up to around four times a year
