We have an exciting opportunity for an Events Executive, to join our Group Events team. The role support events and engagement activities for both Just Group and HUB Group, including small meetings, conferences, incentives and celebration events, for both internal and external customers

This role is a great opportunity for someone within corporate events wanting to grow their experience, or someone within hotel, hospitality or venue events management looking for experience in a corporate environment

Reporting into the Group Events Leader, you will support with overall team objectives to deliver all events to a high standard, efficiently and cost effectively. You’ll assist with creative decisions as well as work with internal stakeholder and colleagues to ensure processes are followed accordingly, such as health and safety, finance, legal etc

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany Events Manager and Group Events Lead on-site at events where
  • Build and deliver post-event analysis
  • Maintain records of all administrative elements including finances/invoices, booking agreements and contracts
  • Liaise with suppliers against a specific brief
  • Support with local events in Belfast with guidance from Group Events Leader
  • Attend all meetings as a second point of contact for Event owner
  • Ad-hoc duties based on team demand including but not limited to; attendee management, comms writing, meeting requests, travel arrangements and host support

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience of dealing with stakeholders and the ability to present and communicate
  • Organised and methodical
  • Strong communication skills and confidence to negotiate with others, both internally and externally
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks at once and at times, work under pressure
  • Ability to think creatively and take on new ideas and thinking
