We are seeking a Catering & Events Assistant for our Facilities team in Belfast. The role involves providing catering and hospitality for meetings and events, supporting office coordinators, and assisting with office management tasks.
Job Duties:
Catering and Events
  • Prepare rooms for meetings, including setting up plates, cutlery, and napkins.
  • Assist with furniture setups.
  • Make tea and coffee as needed.
  • Stock rooms with milk, water, and soft drinks.
  • Deliver catering, including sandwiches, tray bakes, and hot food.
  • Clear rooms after meetings.
  • Maintain office stock of drinks, cereals, and fruit.
  • Support large events with catering and setup.
Support to Office Coordinators
  • Provide reception cover once a week and support as needed.
  • Coordinate with global team for smooth facilities operation.
  • Greet visitors, sign in guests, answer switchboard, handle mail and packages, manage couriers, and oversee Jira management.
Office Management
  • Ensure the office is welcoming, clean, and stocked.
  • Report maintenance issues.
  • Check meeting rooms and large spaces.
  • Order supplies and groceries.
Essential Criteria:
  • Experience in catering or hospitality.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Physical ability to move furniture and set up rooms.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings or evenings.
  • Strong team working skills.
Desirable Criteria:
  • Reception experience, including answering switchboards.
  • Administrative experience.
