Job summary

24 Stories, a premier Evolv Collection restaurant atop Colmore Row in Birmingham, seeks an organised Events Coordinator with reception and front-of-house support. This full-time role combines office event planning with front-of-house duties to ensure seamless client experiences.

You’ll manage bookings, liaise with clients, prepare detailed function sheets, and work closely with Operations to deliver memorable events, while providing warm, professional hospitality across the venue.

Qualifications

• Previous experience coordinating events within hospitality, restaurants, bars or venues is preferred.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Confident using Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Open Table is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage confirmed events and coordinate client requirements in office while supporting reception/front-of-house.
• Own the client journey from confirmation to handover, producing detailed function sheets and coordinating with Operations.
• Deliver events to the highest standard by working closely with the team and managing multiple priorities.

A bit about what you will be doing:

We're looking for an organised, hospitality-driven and flexible Events Coordinator with Reception & Front of House Support to join the team at 24 Stories.

This is a varied, full-time role that combines office-based event coordination with reception and front-of-house support. You'll spend part of your working week in the office managing confirmed events and coordinating client requirements, while also supporting our reception and events operation on the front of house.

We're looking for an organised and hospitality-driven Events Coordinator to join our team. This role sits at the heart of our events business. Once our Sales Team has secured an event booking, you'll take ownership of the client journey-working closely with them to plan every detail, ensuring a seamless experience from confirmation through to handover. You'll become the client's main point of contact, managing all event logistics, producing detailed function sheets and working closely with our Operations team to ensure every event is delivered to the highest standard.

You'll be highly organised, proactive and passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality experiences. You enjoy building relationships, managing multiple priorities and ensuring every detail is considered before an event takes place.
