About this role

We are looking for an Events and Community Fundraising Manager, who will be responsible for growing income, supporter participation and long-term engagement across our community, and events fundraising programmes. You will manage and develop our existing portfolio while identifying new opportunities for sustainable growth.

Reporting to our fundraising lead, our Events and Community Fundraising Manager will develop and shape these fundraising programmes, creating new products and supporter journeys that drive recruitment, engagement, retention and income growth. The role holder will build long-term relationships with supporters and community members, and use data and insight to maximise participation, income and impact.

This is a hands-on, strategic and creative role. You will be expected to take ownership, develop new ideas, use data and insight to inform decisions, and turn opportunities into practical fundraising activity.

What you can expect

You will join a small and ambitious fundraising team with an established portfolio of around 30 events and a range of community fundraising activities and partnerships, generating approximately £200,000 a year. You will have the opportunity to build on this foundation, developing new fundraising products, audiences and partnerships and improving the supporter experience.

Guided by our Fundraising lead, you will have autonomy over your portfolio and what you deliver and will be measured on performance against agreed targets and return on investment. This is a varied and rewarding fundraising management role where you will be able to see the impact of your work directly, while working across Guts UK to develop new opportunities and contribute to our wider fundraising ambitions.

In your first 12 months, you will have:

• Delivered agreed income targets across the community and portfolio.

• Developed new fundraising products, activities and community partnerships.
• Improved supporter journeys, engagement and retention.
• Established clear performance reporting and evaluation across the portfolio.

An experienced community and events fundraiser who combines strong delivery skills with a genuine appetite for growth. You will be comfortable managing an established portfolio while developing new ideas, products and partnerships. You will be supporter-focused, commercially aware and confident using data and insight to improve fundraising performance.

You will be someone who takes ownership, builds strong relationships and enjoys working collaboratively in a small charity where you can make a real difference.
