Job summary

Elite Hotels (Rotherwick) Ltd. is seeking a proactive Conference and Banqueting team member to coordinate weddings, conferences and functions while leading a team of staff, including casual and part-time colleagues.

You will supervise daily operations, train new staff, and drive outstanding customer service, upsell facilities, and showcase the hotel's venues to guests, aiming to deliver memorable events and repeat bookings.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating conferences, weddings and events.
• Proven ability to lead and train staff.
• Strong customer service and upselling skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate events with housekeeping, kitchen and waiting staff to ensure smooth running of events.
• Induct and train new staff joining the business.
• Upsell facilities and conduct tours of the hotel to promote its appeal as a conference and events venue.
• Manage staff and deliver service under tight deadlines.
