Job summary

Elite Hotels (Rotherwick) Ltd. is seeking a Reception Supervisor to lead the Reservations/Reception team across our luxury hotel.

You will manage reservations, guest bookings, and liaise with the Conference Office, aiming to maximise occupancy and room rates through yield practices. The role requires hands-on leadership, ensuring staff use Fidelio Opera PMS, Concept and Squirrel POS, while maintaining Elite standards and exceptional customer care.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality reservations and guest management.
• Proven ability to lead a team and supervise front desk operations.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Guest Service & Switchboard staff are managed, directed and motivated to maintain high levels of customer care.
• Oversee day-to-day operation of the Reception Desk and Switchboard, liaising with Heads of Departments.
• Maintain Elite standards and Fidelio Opera PMS, Concept and Squirrel POS usage across Reception staff.
• Use Guest History (Profiles) and guest feedback to improve service and records.
• Manage key cards and stock control for guest, staff and conferences.
• Coordinate with event organisers and other operational departments.
• Provide cover for Night Porter/Night Auditor shifts.
