Job summary

Berkley Care Group is looking for an Events Assistant to plan and run engaging events and activities within a luxury UK care home setting. You will create inclusive experiences that bring joy to residents and their families, with opportunities to showcase creativity and community involvement.

The role focuses on organising events, coordinating with staff, and capturing moments to promote the home while ensuring residents are happy and engaged.

Qualifications

  • Experience in planning and running events and activities in care settings.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Creative with ability to engage diverse groups.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organise and deliver events and activities for residents.
  • Capture memorable moments in photos to promote the home.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.

Do you have the following skills and attributes?:

  • Planning with a good attention to detail
  • Creativity with an understanding of how to engage and include a variety of people
  • An interest in a wide range of activity with a desire to share skills and hobbies
  • Patience with the ability to empower and support residents with activity choices and desired experiences
  • The ability to organise and prepare special events and celebrations, including those to promote the home
  • An ability to capture everyday life moments in photos to promote the home
  • Good communication skills with a variety of people, eg residents, their families and others in the local community?
