Job summary

Berkley Care Group is seeking a Hospitality Assistant to support residents with light meals, refreshments and a welcoming dining environment in our care home. The role focuses on compassionate service, cleanliness and a warm, inclusive atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or care setting preferred.
• Warm and respectful approach to residents and families.
• Ability to engage a diverse range of people with empathy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve light meals, snacks and drinks for residents and families.
• Keep dining and bar areas clean, presentable, and welcoming.
• Provide residents with the best dining experience across settings.
• Ensure a good selection of drinks and snacks is available at all times.
• Assist residents in food and drink preparation when needed.
• Support residents to make food and drink choices respecting dietary needs.
• Assist in organising and preparing special events and celebrations.

• Prepare and serve light meals, snacks and drinks for residents and their families
• Ensure that all dining and bar areas are clean, well-presented and welcoming

• Help residents to prepare their food and drink when they want to
• Provide residents with the support to make their own food and drink choices, catering to their dietary requirements and preferences
