Job summary

Berkley Care Group is seeking an Events Assistant to organise and run engaging events and activities for residents in a care setting. You will bring friendliness, compassion and a can-do attitude to create enjoyable experiences and promote a warm, inclusive home environment.

Successful candidates will plan with attention to detail, engage diverse residents, and capture moments that showcase everyday life at the home.

Qualifications

• Planning with a good attention to detail.
• Creativity with an understanding of how to engage and include a variety of people.
• An interest in a wide range of activity with a desire to share skills and hobbies.
• Patience with the ability to empower and support residents with activity choices and desired experiences.
• The ability to organise and prepare special events and celebrations, including those to promote the home.
• An ability to capture everyday life moments in photos to promote the home.
• Good communication skills with a variety of people, eg residents, their families and others in the local community?
