Job summary

The Roleas is seeking an experienced Venue Operations Manager on a part-time 6-9 month contract to oversee the delivery of events and day-to-day venue operations. You will be the senior on-site operational lead, coordinating events, facilities, health and safety compliance, and team performance.

Core hours are 9am–5pm, with flexibility for occasional early starts and late finishes to support the event schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in venue, events, hospitality, or operations management.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve event function sheets, floor plans, catering, and specifications.
• Act as senior on-site contact and Duty Manager during live events.
• Ensure event delivery aligns with client expectations and bookings.
• Oversee venue inspections and maintain high front- and back-of-house standards.
• Lead multiple events and activities with the on-site team.
• Coordinate health and safety compliance and incident reporting.
• Manage facilities access and co-ordinate cover as required.
