Stadium Traffic Management Limited is seeking an exceptional Event Operations Manager to lead our Midlands-based operations from Coventry with UK travel to key venues. You will direct stewarding, traffic management, SIA security, HVM and parking operations, while developing site teams and coordinating with recruitment, clients and finance to optimise delivery and safety.

The role demands hands-on leadership, strategic planning, and proven ability to manage multiple sites across the country.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience working in the events industry.
• Experience of working in traffic management within events.
• Ability to communicate with clients up to Safety Officer/Event Manager level.
• World class organisation and strategic planning skills.
• Excellent management and development skills.
• Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships and a collaborative environment.
• L4 in Spectator Safety would be an advantage.
• UK driving licence and car ownership.

Job Overview

Due to our expansion, we are looking for an outstanding Event Operations Manager, with a proven track record, to join our current operations team. This post would be midlands based at our head office in Coventry however travel to events across the UK would be required especially to Everton, Burnley, Wigan, Manchester, Wolverhampton, Derby. We are a business that has grown over the last few years with no view to stop there. The ideal candidate must be very hands on and not afraid to roll up their sleeves. seen as an exceptional leader of teams of all levels and skill sets.

Responsibilities

• To oversee the daily running of all of our events, including but not limited to football clubs.
• Management of Stewarding, Traffic Management, SIA Security, Hostile Vehicle Mitigation & Event Parking Operations.
• Developing our team of Operations Coordinators, supervisors and overall teams at each site
• working very closely with our recruitment, staffing and training teams to ensure the right number and calibre of staff are deployed at each venue.
• Working closely with all of our clients both old and new. In developing new and existing business.
• Developing and implementing operational plans and risk assessments.
• Working closely with the finance department to ensure all budgets are met

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following experience, qualifications and skills;

• 5 years of experience working in the events industry
• Experience of working in the traffic management in the events industry
• Ability to communicate with clients up to Safety Officer/Event Manager level
• World class organisation and strategic planning skills
• Excellent management and development skills
• Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships and a collaborative working environment
• L4 in Spectator Safety would be an advantage
• Must have UK Driving licence & Car (mileage paid)
