Job summary

The Chancery Rosewood in London is seeking an Event Operations Head Waiter to lead our on-floor service for luxury events, from intimate private dining to grand celebrations. You will blend seasoned waiter expertise with strong leadership to choreograph guest journeys, uphold five-star standards, and inspire the team to perform at their best.

• Take accurate food and beverage orders, noting dietary requirements and special requests; relay clearly to kitchen/beverage teams.
• Collaborate with culinary, beverage, and events teams to ensure impeccable presentation and timed service flow.
• Support development of junior associates — share knowledge and model hospitality standards.
• Uphold service etiquette, protocols, and outlet standards; oversee opening/closing procedures and handle guest feedback discreetly.
