Event Marketing Manager – Technology Events

Circa £40-45,000 + Benefits + Bonuses + Career Growth + Remote

Location: UK - Remote

My client produces global conferences, customised events, and content across the Technology space. A new role has arisen for an Events Marketer with a minimum of 2 years+ B2B experience, ideally from a conference business, to work on a growing band of international events & roundtables.

The Role

As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for implementing innovative and effective digital marketing campaigns on time and within budget to meet business objectives. You must be a self-starter keen on both strategic planning and campaign execution. Tasks include data build and management, social media optimisation, website and e-shot planning/content/execution, PPC and remarketing campaigns, media and channel partner management, and more.

Specifically, the role involves:

  • Campaign Management: Evaluate customer research, market conditions, competitor data, and response analyses to produce effective marketing plans. Define campaign targets, achieve revenue and lead generation goals, and control the marketing budget.
  • CRM and Data Management: Develop list build strategies and source innovative data.
  • Email Marketing: Liaise with relevant departments, craft effective email copy, create emails using our software, track responses, and analyze results.
  • Media Partners: Build and develop relationships with trade press, associations, publications, and industry bodies to promote events. Ensure timely submission of materials and delivery of third-party activities.
  • Collateral and Content Production: Work with designers to create brochures, print ads, and other materials. Create engaging content across channels, conduct interviews, write articles, and distribute content to generate inquiries.
  • Social Media, PPC, and Remarketing: Maintain and develop LinkedIn, Twitter, and other channels for lead generation and branding. Use social media advertising and PPC to reach new audiences.

We are looking for a confident, passionate, energetic individual who enjoys teamwork. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and experience in creating targeted digital campaigns with clear ROI are essential.

  • Preferably, at least 2 years of marketing experience within B2B publishing, conferences, or exhibitions.
  • Knowledge and experience of HubSpot.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a true team player.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, with a positive outlook.
