Job summary

The Shine Group, based at our head office on Ormeau Avenue in Belfast, is seeking a Marketing Manager to drive cross-channel marketing for our events, venues and festivals. You will collaborate with departments to boost ticket sales and brand growth across the group.

As a senior marketer, you will lead campaigns, manage the marketing team, analyse results and report to senior management. A strong passion for live music and local entertainment is essential for success.

MARKETING MANAGER

The Shine Group comprises Limelight, Telegraph Building, Belsonic, CHSQ and Emerge. We are a leading promoter of events, nightclubs and festivals across the UK and Ireland. We are seeking a Marketing Manager to join our team. Based at our head office in Ormeau Avenue, you will help deliver marketing across our various channels.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

The Marketing Manager is a senior leadership position. You will be focused on helping our events sell and our company grow. A good marketing manager will design and manage our marketing strategy as well as oversee promotional events and marketing activities.

The role can be further broken down into areas:

STRATEGY & CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT

• To work with various departments and to help create an ongoing marketing strategy
• Focus strategies on achieving and exceeding established ticket sales, targets and maximising return on investment.
• Manage and control multi-platform marketing budgets for all shows. Work closely with the Head of Operations on sales forecasting and budget reconciliation
• A demonstrative understanding of social media platforms and current trends
• Knowledge of Meta Ads Manager & TikTok Ads manager and the experience to oversee campaigns and delegate workflow

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

• Experience as a proven leader who can lead a creative in-house time
• Directly manage, mentor and develop the marketing team. Oversee their day to day workflow and task delegation.
• Optimise internal process and departmental communication

REPORT & ANALYSIS

• The ability to analysis data and report on campaign effectiveness
• Utilise ticketing data and performance analytics to monitor real time campaign performance
• The ability to generate post campaign reports to the senior management team detailing key learnings and recommendations for future strategy.

ABOUT YOU

• A marketing degree is desirable but we’re hiring the right person, not the right degree. Experience matters.
• A minimum of two years experience in a senior marketing role.
• A passion for live music, events and entertainment. Knowledge about local music, comedy and overall live events is essential and will be tested at interview stage. There may be more than one interview for this role.

Hours: 10am-6pm, Monday-Friday

Location: Head Office, Ormeau Avenue (Next to Limelight)
