We're RunThrough. The UK's biggest running event company, and we're not slowing down.
Every year we put on 300+ events, from iconic locations like Alton Towers and Hampton Court Palace to closing down entire town centres for race day. We've built a reputation for doing mass-participation running differently, and we're just getting started.
We believe in doing what we love, properly. That means a team that's genuinely obsessed with running and events, not just clocking in. We create solutions instead of excuses, we've got each other's backs, we build real relationships (with each other, our partners, our runners), and we're always looking for a better way to do things.
The Event Manager will take ownership of delivering high-quality course and village experiences across RunThrough's events across the region, playing a key role in bringing each event to life on the ground. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role centred around weekend events, where you'll be responsible for setting up, managing, and overseeing the event course or village to ensure a safe, well-marked and smooth experience for all participants.
Working closely with the wider team, you'll attend weekly planning meetings while dedicating the majority of your time to on-site delivery, either across setup, single or double event weekends. This role is ideal for someone passionate about running and events, who thrives in a dynamic, outdoor environment and enjoys an unconventional working pattern focused on weekends. With full training provided, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills while contributing to the continued growth and success of RunThrough's events in the region.
