Job summary

Wild By Tart is seeking an experienced Event Manager to hit the ground running. You will deliver and run numerous events, from canapé receptions to large dinners, in a venue and external catering setting. The successful candidate will be client facing, with strong communication and people skills.

You will lead event planning, manage budgets, collaborate with FOH/BOH teams, and work with marketing to grow the events business while upholding Tart standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in venue and catering.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.
• Excellent written skills and ability to write personable, persuasive emails.
• Able to work on own initiative and self-motivated.
• Meticulous organisation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage incoming event enquiries, response times and catering selling guidelines in accordance to Tart standards.
• Promote each event area and catering offerings in an engaging and informative way to both corporate and private clients.
• Work alongside the marketing schedule and strategy to drive event business.
• Maintain strong knowledge of latest trends in the hospitality industry.
• Responsible for managing client's event budgets.
