Job summary

St John Ambulance is seeking an Event Healthcare Advisor to support the delivery of first aid and medical services at events across the region. You will coordinate event healthcare bookings, prepare quotes, manage invoices and ensure administrative arrangements are in place for successful service delivery.

You will act as a primary contact for customers, volunteers and colleagues, providing responsive and professional support throughout the event booking process.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across stakeholders.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Experience in a busy team environment, handling enquiries professionally.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and IT systems with clear written/verbal communication.
• Customer-focused, proactive and solutions-oriented in delivering high service levels.
• Flexible and able to travel and support operational requirements, including occasional out-of-hours work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate administration of event healthcare bookings, respond to enquiries and prepare accurate quotes.
• Manage bookings through to completion and maintain positive relationships with customers and volunteers.
• Prepare and distribute event plans and risk assessments; ensure information is recorded accurately.
• Assist with financial administration of events, including raising invoices and monitoring payments.
• Monitor volunteer availability and address resourcing gaps with colleagues.
• Support travel and site attendance for events and contingency operations as needed.
