Job summary

XL Team LTD is seeking a Casual Event Paramedic to cover emergency incidents at stadia, concerts, motorsport events and road races. The role involves clinical assessment and treatment from ambulances, solo response or within treatment units, with mentoring responsibilities for junior staff.

You will maintain HCPC registration, work per JRCALC guidelines, and ensure accurate records and IPC standards. A smart, professional appearance and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Current HCPC registration as a paramedic, without cautions or restrictions
• CPD activity evidenced within the previous 12 months

Responsibilities

• Attend events and undertake clinical responsibilities to paramedic level in out-of-hospital settings
• Respond to and manage emergency incidents at events
• Provide clinical assessment and interventions on ambulances, solo or within treatment units
• Maintain HCPC registration and continuing professional development per JRCALC guidelines
• Provide clinical supervision and mentor new and junior staff
• Carry out dynamic risk assessments at incidents
• Make timely referrals to other agencies, including safeguarding referrals
