Role Overview

As Event Director, you will lead the successful delivery of events across our key accounts, while managing and inspiring the events team to drive exceptional outcomes. This hands-on, multifaceted role offers the opportunity to create innovative concepts, oversee large-scale budgets, and shape the future of our event portfolio.

You will play a pivotal role in strategic business development, including onboarding new accounts and strengthening relationships with our existing clients, while also taking active leadership for our most important event projects. By thinking creatively and proactively, you will contribute to the growth of the business, provide valuable support to the leadership team, and foster collaboration across departments.

Your focus will be on ensuring seamless project delivery, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and tailoring solutions to meet client needs. Through building strong relationships and gaining a deep understanding of client requirements, you will overcome challenges and consistently deliver first-class service that sets us apart.

Skills & Attributes
  • 10+ years experience delivering brand experiences, meetings, incentives, conferences, and expositions globally
  • 5+ years producing for an event or marketing agency
  • Crafting comprehensive proposals and delivering creative, compelling client pitches
  • Proven expertise in managing RFPs with precision and professionalism
  • Strong knowledge of AV and production processes to ensure seamless event execution
  • Exceptional skills in event operations, including the implementation and execution of efficient processes
  • In-depth understanding of global venues, complemented by excellent research capabilities
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex, large-scale budgets (over $1M) across multiple currencies
  • Proficiency in forecasting and revenue projection to support strategic planning
  • Expertise in business development, including identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth
  • Commitment to maintaining and enhancing company standards, ensuring brand consistency internally and externally
  • Exceptional time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to anticipate needs, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet tight deadlines
  • Proactive and adaptable with a "can-do" attitude and willingness to take initiative
  • A creative and structured mindset that thrives under pressure
  • Focus on delivering outstanding customer experiences with a dedication to exceeding expectations
  • Strong line management skills, with experience leading teams of 4 or more
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage
  • Advanced proficiency in IT tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Salesforce, and PowerPoint
