Job summary

Arc Hospitality Recruitment is seeking experienced Event Chefs to work on our agency roster across venues and events in Yorkshire. Wages start at £16.00 per hour, rising to £20.00 per hour plus holiday pay, depending on experience.

Join a team delivering top culinary talent for stadiums, races, corporate events, weddings and concerts. You’ll lead kitchen teams, maintain high standards under pressure, and adapt rapidly to different environments while upholding safety and hygiene requirements.

Qualifications

• Food Safety Level 2 certificate, from last 3 years.
• Food Allergen certificate, from last 3 years.
• Health & Safety Level 2 certificate, from last 3 years.
• NVQ Level 2/3 Professional Cookery or relevant experience in the role.

Responsibilities

• Cook to specification and opportunity for menu creation.
• Product Delivery, Standards and Innovation
• Cleaning the kitchen & its equipment
• Due diligence, Record food/fridge temps & wastage
• Liaising with Front of House Staff and Management.
• Stock Control, Waste Management and Finance
• Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Maintenance
• Be aware of and adhere to Health and Safety at Work, COSHH and other legislation at all times.

We are looking for experienced Event Chefs to work on the agency.

Wages - £16.00ph - £20.00ph + holiday pay (Depending on experience)

Following another successful season working with some of the region's biggest sporting and hospitality venues, ARC Hospitality Recruitment is expanding their team of Relief Chefs and we're looking for Yorkshire's best culinary talent to join us.

As an Agency Relief Chef, you’ll step into key positions and deliver consistently excellent service. You’ll be expected to:

• Lead and support kitchen teams across a variety of venues
• Maintain high culinary standards and presentation under pressure
• Ensure smooth service during busy race days, football matches, corporate events, weddings, and concerts
• Adapt quickly to different kitchen environments and teams
• Uphold food safety, hygiene, and compliance at all times

What you need?

• Food Safety Level 2 certificate - From last 3 years
• Food Allergen certificate - From last 3 years
• Health & Safety Level 2 - From last 3 years
• You will have an NVQ Level 2/3 Professional Cookery or relevant experience in the role.
• Good Knowledge of food and passion for delivering high quality, affordable, on-the-go and sit-down meals.
• Eligible to work in the UK
• An eagerness to work hard & enthusiasm for your role
