We're looking for a talented Event Assistant to work for our client in Plymouth.

They want to recruit someone with demonstrable background of previous experience in the field.

The Role:

As the Event Assistant, you'll report to the Event Manager and will be primarily responsible for working in a team, working well under pressure, and adapting to new environments on a daily basis.

In this role, you'll be tasked with:

  1. Providing administrative, organisational, and logistical support to an event planner or coordinator.
  2. Assisting with creative decisions.
  3. Ensuring all branded items for events arrive on time.
  4. Helping set up and dismantle events efficiently through to completion.

The standard working hours for this position are 7-8 hour shifts.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have relevant previous experience in the field.

You should also have the ability to work calmly under pressure, along with good literacy skills (verbal, written, and spoken).

Additionally, you will need:

  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
  • A flexible attitude and being a team player.
  • Enthusiasm to contribute new ideas.

The ideal person for this role will be:

  • Able to work as part of a team.
  • Organised and efficient.
